Jackie Hicks is a local Chiropodist who is HPC registered. She trained with the Scholl School of Chiropody qualifying in 1999. In that time she has worked in Bristol and North Somerset but has recently decided to concentrate on working from Kestrel Court two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Chiropody appointments take half an hour and treatments include nail trimming, removal of callous, corns, treatment of ingrowing toenails and advice about fungal infections, athletes’ foot, verruca’s and biomechanical problems.

Hilary trained at the Oxford School of Chiropody, qualifying in December 1995. She has her own centre with complimentary therapies in Staplehill Road, Bristol and runs satellite clinics in Long Ashton and here at Harbourside. She also practices reflexology which is available to clients here at the practice.

Susan Laing DPodM MCHS HCPC accredited

Susan Laing qualified as a chiropodist/podiatrist in 1984 in Scotland. She then went on to work in the NHS for a further 12 years and practiced in various hospitals and clinics in Surrey, focusing on diabetic, autoimmune and nail surgery clinics. Susan then moved up north and went into private practice for a further 15 years, until she moved back down south. Susan now offers routine chiropody/podiatry and partial nail avulsions for ingrowing toenails with a local anesthetic. Susan Laing M.Ir M.G.N.I N.H.F.Dip D.Pod.M initially trained as a Podiatrist, before coming to study in natural medicine, which was inspired through her own poor health. She studied with 3 different iridology colleges, and laterally with one of the top leading iridologists in the world.
